Earn Free Rides

Windjammer Balloons is always looking for crew people. For every five flights, you’ll earn a gift certificate for a 1-hour ride. You can take the ride yourself, or give the gift certificate to someone else. Or, if you’re interested in becoming a pilot, you can trade crew time for flight instruction.

The qualifications are pretty simple. You must be physically fit and willing to work. We prefer crew members possess a valid driver’s license and be over 18 years of age. Being a crew person involves heavy lifting and occasionally running. Because this is our business, we also expect crew to dress appropriately. That means sturdy shoes (no sandals), a casual shirt (golf shirts are great), and natural materials. No polyester, nylon or polar fleece. Everyone is required to wear gloves, which we will provide.
